gamesding is an app for board game geeks: it keeps track of the games you own and connects you with your friends. Add a game by searching for its title or scanning the barcode on the box, log your plays and see what's new on your friends' shelves.

gamesding is still being built and hasn't been released yet. A few geeks are already testing it, so their feedback can shape the app before launch. This page will grow into a full case study once gamesding is out.
The idea
Board game collections grow faster than anyone can remember what's on the shelf. gamesding puts that shelf in your pocket:

Your friends want to give you a game but don't know which one? gamesding. You're standing in the shop and can't remember whether you already own it? gamesding.
Scan and ready to go
Hold the barcode on the box up to the camera and the game lands in your collection, or simply search for its title. The game data comes from BoardGameGeek.
What your friends are playing
The feed shows what your geeks add to their shelves, rate and play. And you can put a sticker on it.
Stats and favourites at a glance
How often was which game on the table, how long did you play, and who keeps winning? gamesding keeps count for you.
